This urban intervention project engaged the Tiber River, the Lungotevere, and Via Giulia while maintaining the scale of the medieval neighborhood which surrounded it. The design proposed a number of large palazzo type buildings along the Via Giulia while smaller typical Roman apartment/ shop (mixed use) buildings create a sunken piazza opening to the Tiber River.
